Overnight Precision. Minimal Disruption.

When a commercial developer needed a new sewer lateral installed beneath one of Ogden's busiest roadways, open-cut excavation wasn't an practical option. The project required maintaining traffic, minimizing disruption, and completing the installation within a single overnight work window.

Using our compact pit-launched horizontal directional drilling system, Chamba Trenchless completed the entire bore in one night.

Our scope included:

  • Installing the pilot bore beneath Washington Blvd.

  • Backreaming to the required diameter

  • Pulling the HDPE sewer pipe into place

  • Delivering a properly sloped sewer lateral ready for final connection

Working overnight allowed the roadway to reopen with minimal impact to surrounding businesses and traffic while avoiding the time and cost of traditional trenching.
