At Chamba Drilling Services, we’re a locally owned contractor based in Utah specializing in Micro-Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) for electrical, communications, and utility installations. Our mission is to provide a solution for local contractors who have not been able to use trenchless technologies because of cost or space limitations.

Founded by Todd Wood, a lifelong builder and energy professional, Chamba was built on a foundation of integrity, hands-on experience, and reliable performance. Todd, a fully licensed and insured contractor with over 20 years of experience between the energy & construction industry, brings leadership and technical expertise from large-scale solar, EV charging, and utility projects.

At Chamba, we believe in doing things the right way—with hard work, dependable equipment, and a focus on long-term relationships. Whether we’re installing conduit beneath a driveway or completing a complex underground crossing for a solar array, our approach remains the same: get it done efficiently, safely, and with care for the property and people involved.
